Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure that yields natural, crisp strokes that resemble hair. It is done by hand, using a very fine blade to deposit a small amount of ink into the skin. What our clients say about this procedure
Eyebrow Microblading is the precise and intricate technique of tattooing realistic eyebrow hair strokes one by one to create the illusion of fullness. Microblading can go by many different names including, microstroking, micropigmentation, eyebrow feathering, semi-permanent eyebrows and 3D eyebrows.
Although microbladed brows won’t require daily maintenance, because the results are semi-permanent, they typically last somewhere between one to three years depending on skin type and lifestyle. We recommend a touch up 12-18 months later to keep the color looking vibrant and the microblade strokes looking crisp.
Semi-permanent eyebrows are actually one of the benefits of microblading, considering how skin changes with age, and eyebrow trends can differ with time. The eyebrow shape and color can be adapted to fit changes in skin and eyebrow trends.
Who is a good candidate? The simple answer is anyone that wants to have full, beautiful brows all day, every day! That would include busy parents or business people who don’t have much time to apply brow make up, active people who don’t want to worry about sweating off makeup while working out or swimming, or any person who struggles with getting that perfect shape every time. Other clients include those suffering from scarring, Alopecia and Cancer, or other diseases and disorders that have led to natural hair loss.
NOT IDEAL FOR:
CONTRAINDICATIONS (Depending on severity of medical condition, some individuals may still be able to have the procedure with a note from their doctor):
Microblading is a two-step process, at least 4-6 weeks apart. Final results won’t be seen until after the touch up appointment. With most procedures, the color looks dramatically lighter after the first week. Some clients prefer this, while others are looking for a bolder look. At the second treatment, we will assess the color retention and make adjustments as necessary. Everyone heals differently and at different rates. If your cosmetic tattoo does not heal perfectly the first time, don’t worry! We can always go darker and add more density at your next appointment.
